Many Hands Organic Farm CSA!
We are full for working shareholders in 2007. Working shareholders typically work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 7-12 noon. Over the season (mid April - end of October) working shareholders work a total of 80 hours in exchange for a share of food ($500 value).
Working at MHOF will provide an opportunity to work hard, learn a lot about essentially hand operated organic agriculture and learn about yourself in our quite open, honest, yet caring environment.
Many Hands Organic Farm in Central Mass has been in business for 25 years growing certified organic (for 22 years) produce, flowers, fruits, and chickens. In 2007 we will have about 1.5 - 2 acres in intense vegetable production for a 45 member CSA and a few local markets. This year we will raise meat chickens, some layers for eggs and pigs (and one duck). We have an orchard, a lot of small fruit and do a lot of home food preservation. As staff people for NOFA Massachusetts, the NOFA Summer Conference and the Natural Farmer, we have many organic agricultural connections for you to hook up with.
