Be a Working Shareholder at the
Many Hands Organic Farm CSA!
We are looking for a handful of working shareholders for 2010. Here is the deal. You show up on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday morning from 7 AM to Noon or 8 AM to Noon and work alongside the crew. You take home a share for the summer CSA for your 80 hours of work. If you are a real stalwart, you can work for the spring and/or fall shares also.
So this is real work, in the rain and in the heat, and you have to have good hustle, and see it as a real job. But, we are very fun people to be with, and you will learn a lot about how to farm/garden, and we often work on personal problems in the field too - free counseling, you might say. Apply by coming to work one day and we can check each other out. Oh, yes, you can go on vacation and/or switch your day from time to time.
