Delivery Options for the Many Hands CSA

We have several delivery options for the Spring, Summer Vegetable, Fruit, Flower, and Fall Shares in 2010. The one time charge is to cover travel/management costs.

Spring and Fall CSA Delivery Options

Please note that for Spring and Fall Shares deliveries will be to Holden and Worcester only (see details below), both on Fridays; $6.00 for Spring and $5.00 for Fall.

Holden

There will be a Friday pickup at a shareholder's home in the center of Holden. The charge is $6.00 for the Spring CSA and $5.00 for the Fall CSA. Pickup is available from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Worcester

There will be a Friday pickup at Dismas House on 30 Richards St, near Clark University. The charge is $6.00 for the Spring CSA and $5.00 for the Fall CSA. Pickup is available from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Summer CSA Delivery Options

Dorchester

There will be a Monday pickup at a shareholder's home in the Ashmont Hill neighborhood. The charge is $40.00. Pickup is available from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM; folks should call if they cannot make it before 10 or until the next day.

Framingham

There will be a Monday pickup at the Edwards House at United Church of Christ Conference Center at 1 Badger Rd in Framingham. The charge is $40.00. Pickup is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Driving Directions

From the Massachusetts Pike and Route 9 Eastbound:

  1. take Exit 12 to Route 9 east (toward Framingham)
  2. turn right at the first set of lights onto Country Club Lane
  3. turn left onto Gates Road and bear left at the next stop sign
  4. at the following stop sign turn right and cross Salem End Road onto Badger Road. For Edwards House, turn right at the second driveway; Edwards is the large white house. Please park in the parking lot near the red and brown barn building, and enter Edwards House through the small office door, which will be on your left as you face its main entrance.

From Route 9 Westbound:

  1. Pass by the Natick Mall on the right
  2. go about three miles passing over railroad tracks; continue past Temple Street staying in the left lane and make a left turn onto Country Club Lane at the lights by the reservoir
  3. follow the directions from #3 above.

Holden

There will be a Monday pickup at a shareholder's home in the center of Holden. The charge is $20.00. Pickup is available from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

There will be a Wednesday pickup at St Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street in Holden (the church is located around the corner from Friendly's on Main Street and the Holden Library) The charge is $20.00. Pickup is available from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Fitchburg

There will be a Wednesday pickup at the Back N Touch Wellness Center on 244 Walton St, near the South Street School. The charge is $20.00. Pickup is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Palmer

There will be a Friday pickup at the Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. The pickup location is in the cafeteria which is in the back of the hospital behind the ER on the bottom floor. The charge is $40.00. Pickup is available from 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM.

Worcester

There will be a Friday pickup at Dismas House on 30 Richards St, near Clark University. The charge is $20.00. Pickup is available from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
